After taking down Penn State in the White Out Saturday night, the USC football team will enjoy a much-needed off week this week. The following week, however, the Trojans will be back in action when they head on the road again to face Wisconsin.
On Monday, the Big Ten announced the kickoff time for the game. The matchup between USC and Wisconsin will be played at 4:30 p.m. Pacific time/6:30 p.m. Central time on October 24. It will be televised on NBC.
Interestingly, this will be the Trojans’ fourth consecutive game in the NBC prime time window. At this point, USC fans can just turn on the network at the same every Saturday evening and know that the Trojans will be playing.
This will mark USC’s first trip to Madison since joining the Big Ten. The Trojans hosted Wisconsin in their first ever Big Ten home game at the Coliseum two years ago, winning 38-21.
Interestingly, USC-Wisconsin will take place at the same time as Game 2 of the World Series. That is particularly notable because that game will be hosted by either the Los Angeles Dodgers or the Milwaukee Brewers, who are currently facing off in the National League Championship Series. With strong overlaps in fan bases between both USC and the Dodgers and Wisconsin and the Brewers, it will certainly be a busy night for one of the two groups.
