She maybe out of the embassy, but Kimberly Guilfoyle hasn’t given up on international relations.
A source tells Page Six that the former Fox News host — who just resigned as the US Ambassador to Greece at the request of the White House amid allegations of improper and possibly illegal activity — is going to stay abroad and find the Aristotle to her Jackie.
Guilfoyle has denied all the allegations against her and vowed to “vigorously defend” herself.
“She is embarrassed to come back to the US. She’s ashamed,” says the insider, who tells us the plan is to find a “rich husband in Europe.”
Guilfoyle stepped down on Tuesday when the White House publicly called for her resignation after the Wall Street Journal published several articles about alleged misconduct.
Although Guilfoyle was engaged to Donald Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. — dating him for around six years — the President seemed to downplay his connection to her.
“She, I guess, dated my son a long time ago,” Trump said during a press briefing. “But she went to Greece. She was doing a good job, but we didn’t like what we were reading.”
Our source says Guilfoyle — who also hit the campaign trail for Trump — will likely have a hard time finding a gig in the First Family’s orbit.
“She’s done in Trump world,” they explained. “Who will hire her? No one will go near her.”
One article delved into her close personal ties with Christos Marafatsos, a Maryland-born lobbyist for the Greek construction firm Aktor Group. Reports claim she pushed his company over other firms and that Marafatsos sat in on official meetings so often that foreign officials thought he was her chief of staff. He has been seen with her at numerous official events.
They also alleged that around the time of her confirmation she pitched at least one Greek businessman on making a $3 million investment in her vodka company, Polished Rice.
She has also been accused of asking Trump donor Eric Deters to pay off her $100,000 AmEx bill before her confirmation hearing in return for getting the Trump administration’s help with his tax and legal issues.
She is also alleged to have bragged at Davos about taking private jet trips and five-star European hotel stays from shipping magnate Nikolas Tsakos and Aktor CEO Alexandros Exarchou.
“I intend to vigorously defend my name, my reputation, and my integrity,” she said in a statement. “I have dedicated my professional life to fighting for justice, standing up for what is right, and defending the values that make America exceptional. I will not allow false accusations to define my decades of public service.”
Don Jr. and Guilfoyle broke up in Dec. 2024 after photos emerged of him holding hands with his now wife, Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson.
On the same day that Page Six reported that the couple had split, Trump named Guilfoyle the US ambassador to Greece.
According to the Journal, Trump told people that he offered Guilfoyle the job “for his son’s sake” saying “I had to get her out of here.”
Guilfoyle was previously married to California Gov. Gavin Newsom from 2001 to 2006.
Guilfoyle and her lawyer Jesse Binnall did not return request for comment.
