The Seattle Seahawks are in a big hole as far as the NFC West title race. They’re three games back in the loss column to the San Francisco 49ers, who are 5-0 and have what looks to be an easy night at hand versus the 1-3-1 Washington Commanders, who were last seen running the clock out on themselves and throwing away a likely win.
I, uh, I’ve got nothing. The Commanders beat the Seahawks with a backup quarterback, so I guess that means they have a shot against the 49ers with their actual starting QB. Hey, if the Arizona Cardinals can look grossly inept almost all season and beat the Los Angeles Rams in their building, maybe Jayden Daniels has something up his sleeve. Maybe Dan Quinn can channel his inner Seahawks defensive coordinator and find the ideal gameplan to hold Brock Purdy and company down.
ESPN/ABC has the Monday Night Football broadcast at 5:15 pm PT.
Go Commanders! A loss by the 49ers makes the NFC West race a little more interesting again.
