NFL Week 7 Sunday Night Football Best Bets—Chiefs At Seahawks

NFL Week 7 Sunday Night Football features the defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks hosting the Kansas City Chiefs, the team that’s won the most Super Bowls in the past decade. The Seahawks are 3.0-point favorites with a rest advantage this week, and the game’s total is 42.5 points.

Sunday Night Football should be a competitive Week 7 contest, and neither team should be stuck in a massively negative game script. The Chiefs should be positioned to use their stud running back heavily, but not necessarily as a workhorse runner. Meanwhile, a staple of Kansas City’s dynasty has played well this year, but he runs into a nightmare matchup. As a result, one of them has an appealing prop for their receiving yards over, and the other’s under looks tasty.

NFL Week 7: Sunday Night Football Best Player Props

• Kenneth Walker Over 20.5 Receiving Yards (-120) at Fanatics Sportsbook
• Travis Kelce Under 46.5 Receiving Yards (-113) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Kenneth Walker (Kansas City Chiefs - RB)

Kenneth Walker has steamrolled teams, but his path to least resistance against his former employer is through the air. The Seahawks rank seventh in rushing yards allowed per game (76.8) and third in yards per carry allowed (3.49).

Seattle can be beaten by running backs in the passing game. The Seahawks have allowed 30.8 receiving yards per game and 5.29 yards per target to running backs this season. Rhamondre Stevenson (44 receiving yards), Keaton Mitchell (24 receiving yards) and RJ Harvey (31 receiving yards) cleared 20.5 receiving yards against the Seahawks in 2026.

Walker began the year with 18 receiving yards and 61 receiving yards, and it’s been downhill since, with only three, two and 11. Still, Walker has a stellar 44.8% route participation rate, 0.24 targets per route run (TPRR) and 1.22 yards per route run (Y/RR) this season.

Walker has demonstrable receiving chops. Andy Reid isn’t a dunce. He almost certainly recognizes how difficult it is to run against the Seahawks, and without Rashee Rice, their pass-catching weapons are lackluster. Walker should get some cracks at the Seahawks through the air, and he has the dynamism to clear his prop of 20.5 receiving yards on one reception, but he’ll likely see more opportunities than that.

Travis Kelce (Kansas City Chiefs - TE)

Among 38 tight ends with at least 75 routes run this year, Travis Kelce is 10th in route participation rate (70.7%), 14th in target share (16.5%), tied for 14th in targets per route run (0.21), 11th in first-read rate (19.1%), sixth in air yard share (18.1%), tied for 14th in receptions per game (4.0), fifth in receiving yards per game (59.8) and fourth in yards per route run (2.43). Obviously, that’s not peak-Kelce level, but he’s playing quite well.

Kelce has surpassed 46.5 receiving yards in four of five games this year, falling short with 15 on two receptions and four targets against the Raiders in Week 4. He bounced back with 53 receiving yards last week, but that was his second-lowest yardage output this year.

Kelce has a brutal matchup this week. The Seahawks have allowed the fewest receiving yards per game (25.5) and the third-fewest yards per target (4.50) to tight ends this season.

Seattle’s dominance against tight ends is made all the more impressive by facing Trey McBride in Week 2 and holding him to 41 receiving yards on 10 targets and eight receptions. All of McBride’s marks are season highs for a tight end against the Seahawks this year. They also held George Kittle to 24 receiving yards on six targets and five receptions.

Kelce isn’t in the same tier of tight end as McBride or Kittle at this point in their respective careers. Kelce’s under for 46.5 receiving yards is one of Sunday Night Football’s best bets.
