Josh Allen. Patrick Mahomes. And Mr. Irrelevant?
That's the leaderboard for NFL MVP as of Sunday night.
A new, surprising face now leads the race according to oddsmakers.
Brock Purdy leads odds for NFL MVP after win over Seahawks
Brock Purdy didn't have his best game against Seattle on Sunday but he came away with a win.
Another thing he came away with? The lead for NFL MVP.
DraftKings announced after the game that Purdy has moved to +280 to win his first MVP. Josh Allen is at +300 while Patrick Mahomes is listed at +600.
It's the first time all season that Allen hasn't led the list, according to ESPN Insights.

Purdy has thrown for 1,196 yards, 13 touchdowns, and two interceptions with a 119.3 passer rating this season.
More importantly, the 49ers are undefeated. Purdy's receiving core consists of aging veterans who have been tossed to the side by other teams like Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel. He also has George Kittle, who is less than a year removed from tearing his Achilles.

Oh and don't forget Christian McCaffrey in the backfield.
Purdy's reputation was once how he benefits from being in Kyle Shanahan's system with the 49ers. But in his fourth year he's proving he is consistently one of the best passers this league has.
Josh Allen will now have a chance to respond with a primetime matchup on Monday against the Rams. But after Purdy led San Fran to a win over a division rival, it might be his race to lose.
It's early in the season but still shocking to see Purdy stand atop a list that doubters once said he would never reach.
