The Alabama high school volleyball scene has entered the playoffs and is close to wrapping up as the state tournament starts next week.
First, the regional tournaments take place in Montgomery and Hoover from Oct. 21-23 ahead of the state tournament. The state tournament starts on Oct. 27 with Class 6A, 1A and the private schools before they play state title matches on the 28th. Classes 2A-5A start on the 28th and end on the 29th with state title matches.
The top four teams will advance out of the regional and into the state tournament. Here's what you need to know as your team clinches a state title berth and trip to Birmingham.

Tickets will be $14 according to the AHSAA. They can be bought through GoFan and will be good for the whole day in Birmingham.

The AHSAA volleyball state championships are on the NFHS Network. It is a subscription service that cost $11.99 a month but gives access to all content on the site across all sports, as long as the school is putting the event on the platform.
Where to park for AHSAA volleyball state tournament
There is parking at the Birmingham Crossplex. In past tournaments, a small fee was charged.

- 10:30 a.m. — Private AA Quarterfinals
