A police officer who fantasised about rape, watched porn on duty and exchanged up to 90 'highly sexualised' messages a day with a dozen women has been sacked.
Anthony Spelman, a former police constable with Cheshire Police, was also found to have 'pursued' a woman whose son he had previously arrested.
He was accused of recognising the woman on a dating site before sending her sexual messages and meeting up with her.
Chief Constable Mark Roberts said in Spelman's misconduct report that this behaviour constituted 'abusing his position as a police officer for a sexual purpose'.
The report also noted that Spelman, who was dismissed earlier this year, engaged in 'highly sexualised' exchanges with 12 women between April and September 2023.
He was said to have sent and received up to 90 messages a day while on duty as a police officer.
The exchanges revealed a 'preoccupation with your own sexual matters in the workplace', the report seen by the Liverpool Echo noted.
It was also proven that Spelman accessed pornography on his personal mobile phone and shared his desire for 'rape role-playing' with a woman on shift.
The misconduct hearing was held behind closed doors on April 28 this year.

It was concluded that Spelman's behaviour amounted to gross misconduct and he was dismissed without notice.
Chief Constable Mike Evans from Cheshire Police said: 'Before beginning their careers, police officers swear an oath to act with honesty, integrity and to promise to abide by the clear guidelines about the standards expected from all of our operational staff.
'Sadly, former PC Spelman ignored these core guidelines and principles on a number of occasions and thought he could act in such an unacceptable way without consequence - he was wrong.
'Spelman's actions fell well below what is expected of our officers and his actions have now resulted in him being dismissed from Cheshire Constabulary and barred from re-entering the profession.
'His actions do not reflect what the constabulary stands for and anyone found breaching the principles and guidelines we are proud to uphold across the force, will face similar consequences.'
