She addressed her birthday prayer directly to God, asking that her life continue "to tell the story of Your goodness" as she stepped into a new year.
The timing of the post has drawn attention given recent developments in Peggy's personal life.
In July 2026, the actress began describing herself as "Miss Peggy Ovire" in a video shared on her Snapchat story, a move that fuelled widespread speculation about the status of her marriage to Nollywood actor Frederick Leonard.
The development came amid unconfirmed reports that the couple's divorce had been finalised, though neither party has officially confirmed this.
In her birthday message, Peggy did not reference her marriage or the reported split directly. Instead, she wrote of being "Alive, Loved and able to begin again" as a blessing she would never take for granted, and asked God to "keep my heart soft" as she moved forward.
