‘Rise and Fall’ Season 2: Gautam clashes with Sara; Niharika gets special power

The latest episode of Prime Video reality series Rise and Fall Season 2 witnessed actor Gautam Gulati clash with singer Sara Gurpal. Meanwhile, a major twist was introduced by the makers in the race for the Ultimate Ruler title.

A heated argument between Gautam, Sara and social media personality Raj Grover escalated after Gautam slammed his leg against a bench, angering Gurpal.

Sara, who said she had known Gautam for eight years and considered him a friend, confronted him over his behaviour. She also revealed that his aggressive display had brought back memories of an abusive relationship and left her frightened. Kaira Anu and Raj supported Sara.

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary found herself caught in the crossfire after stepping in to calm him down. The Workers reminded her that they stood by her during her earlier feud with Gautam, leaving Priyanka feeling let down by the very people she fought for. Matters escalated further when Priyanka and Kajal Raghwani clashed over honesty, with Kaira joining the argument.

Meanwhile, in the Penthouse, actress Swara Bhasker became emotional as she was missing her family. The following morning, Niharika Tiwari and wildcard contestant Rishabh Jaiswal resolved their differences over misunderstandings involving mutual acquaintances outside the show.

The contestants later came together for Navratri celebrations, with the Workers taking charge of the festivities in the Penthouse and preparing garlands for the Rulers.

However, the celebrations also revived existing rivalries. Rishabh called Kaira “judgemental” and “desperate”, prompting her to hit back by bringing his girlfriend into the exchange.

Meanwhile, as Poonawalla’s tenure as Ultimate Ruler came to an end, the Workers were given the opportunity to select their preferred Ruler. They chose Niharika and gave her a special power to eliminate two contestants from the race of Ultimate Ruler title. Niharika removed Shehzad and Irina Rudakova from the race.

In another twist, the Workers were asked to select a contestant who could replace one of the Rulers still in contention. They chose Rishabh, leaving him with the power to alter the race for the title.

Produced by Banijay Asia, Rise and Fall Season 2 streams free on Prime Video, with new episodes released daily at 12 noon.
