According to Ferran Correas of SPORT, Barcelona are expecting a record-breaking day of merchandise sales at the Spotify Camp Nou store when they host Real Madrid in El Clasico, with strong demand for the club’s shirts and exclusive matchday collection driving optimism.
The Catalans are already anticipating record ticket revenue for the fixture, with receipts expected to surpass the €16.4 million generated by last season’s corresponding match.
The club now believe their official store could also set a new benchmark, eclipsing the €750,000 sales record established during that same El Clasico.
Barcelona target new merchandise sales record at the store
Barcelona’s highest single-day merchandise revenue currently stands at approximately €750,000, recorded during last season’s meeting with Real Madrid.
On that occasion, the club’s shirt featured singer Olivia Rodrigo as part of Spotify’s special collaboration, while Hansi Flick’s side secured a 2-0 victory through goals from Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres.
Expectations are particularly high this time around, with the club anticipating that sales of shirts and other merchandise will exceed that figure.

The recent performance of Barcelona’s team is one factor behind the optimism.
Strong results and the growing popularity of the squad are helping drive demand for official merchandise, with the latest figures from the club’s league meeting with Getafe providing an encouraging indication.
The store generated well over €600,000 during that matchday, placing it among the three highest-grossing days in the store’s history.
As such, Barcelona now expect the increased interest surrounding El Clasico to push sales even further.
Tyler, The Creator collection adds to El Clasico demand
Another factor working in Barcelona’s favour is the exclusive collection created for the fixture, featuring the GOLF branding associated with American rapper and designer Tyler, The Creator, in a collaboration selected by Spotify.
The special-edition shirt and accompanying merchandise have been performing well, giving supporters another reason to visit the official store during one of the biggest fixtures on the football calendar.
The combination of the exclusive collection, the team’s strong form and the attention surrounding El Clasico has left the club optimistic about setting a new commercial record.

As things stand, Lamine Yamal remains Barcelona’s clear leader in shirt sales, comfortably ahead of the other players in the squad.
Pedri occupies the next position, although he faces strong competition from captain Raphinha. Pau Cubarsi follows them, while Rodri is the best-selling shirt among Barcelona’s new signings, according to the report.
Fermin Lopez has also enjoyed a notable increase in demand. His shirt is now competing with that of Gavi, whose name has been among the club’s most popular choices in previous seasons.
Robert Lewandowski continues to attract interest despite leaving the club for Chicago Fire during the summer. Barcelona still receive requests for shirts bearing the Polish striker’s name, particularly from Polish supporters.
