AXA XL underwrites the new Singapore policies for fine art and high-value collectables.
KoverNow has expanded its digital insurance offerings in Singapore to cover fine art, wine, whisky and collectables, with AXA XL underwriting the new products.
The policies protect collectors against loss, theft and accidental damage worldwide.
They are available through the KoverNow app for iOS and Android, with digital quotes and coverage designed to reduce the lengthy underwriting process traditionally associated with high-value items.
The expanded coverage includes paintings, sculptures, antiques, professionally graded trading cards, sports memorabilia and film memorabilia.
Stephan Kaiser, CEO of KoverNow, said the new products would allow collectors to manage their collections and insurance through a single app.
He said collectors increasingly buy and trade items through digital marketplaces, whilst insurance has traditionally involved a separate, more time-consuming process.
Rhiannon Alban-Davies, underwriting manager for Fine Art & Specie in Asia at AXA XL, said collectors expected specialist protection to be more accessible as the way they build and manage collections changes.
The expansion builds on KoverNow's strategic partnership with AXA XL, which began in January 2026 with digital insurance for watches, jewellery and handbags.
KoverNow plans to extend the partnership to Hong Kong, bringing the expanded range of insurance products to collectors in the market.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW
Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.
Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.
We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.
If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
