Matchweek 31 of the 2026 Brasileirão continued on Saturday (17) with four matches.
There was a change at the top of the table, a former Brazil coach's first win at his new club, a team still competing on three fronts breaking into the top five, and relief for one giant while leaving another in trouble.
Check out the highlights, the updated standings and the upcoming fixtures.
The first game of the day ended with Botafogo beating Chapecoense thanks to a goal from Tiquinho Soares.
His first since returning. And relief for Tite as he picked up his first win in charge of Glorioso.
Next up, Atlético scored late to celebrate victory over Coritiba.
They are in the semifinals of the Copa do Brasil and Copa Sudamericana and are now on course for a place in the qualifying rounds of next year's Copa Libertadores.
Away from home and down to ten men for most of the game, Palmeiras beat Athletico to go top overnight before Flamengo play.
São Paulo versus Vasco rounded off the day's Brasileirão action. And Tricolor came out on top, pulling well clear of the relegation zone.
