KUALA LUMPUR: A construction worker was sentenced to three years' imprisonment by the High Court here today for abducting and confining a Palestinian man at a chalet four years ago.
Judge Datuk Mohd Arief Emran Arifin imposed the sentence on Edy Ko'im Said, 46, after he pleaded guilty to an alternative charge.
The court ordered the father of three to begin serving his sentence today.
