LAWRENCE — Kansas basketball’s preseason exhibition slate comes to an end Sunday with a game at home against Duke.
The Jayhawks and Blue Devils are participating in what’s being called the Blue Blood Classic. It’s the third and final exhibition game for KU so far this preseason, following a win at home against Pittsburg State and a loss at home against No. 11 Louisville. Kansas basketball vs Duke storylines
Kansas had the opportunity to learn a lot from its exhibition defeat against Louisville, and will quickly be tested again. Can the Jayhawks show for one, that they can make progress, and another, they can compete at this point with a team many could pick to win the national championship?
KU got a lot from senior guards Tre White and Melvin Council Jr. against Louisville, but could have used more from freshman guard Tyran Stokes. Can Stokes, who’s shown at times why he’s so highly regarded, be more of a factor against Duke?
