Fans of BL (boy love) dramas were hit especially hard today by the news of two paired couples breaking up.
Today, GMMTV announced that two couples, “Joong” Archen Aydin and “Dunk” Natachai Boonprasert aka “JoongDunk,” and “Aou” Thanaboon Kiatniran and “Boom” Tharatorn Jantharaworakarn aka “AouBoom,” have ended their partnerships.
Due to their chemistry, some actors in different countries will end up being paired up during their careers. In Thailand, this happens with many acting pairs, with those appearing in BL (boy love) series being some of the most popular domestically and internationally.
In notices posted on X, GMMTV stated that previously announced schedules between the two would continue as planned.

This announcement did not mention the fate of two series that each pair were meant to star in, How To Survive My CEO (JoongDunk) and Billionaire Biker (AouBoom). However, all previously shared content, including video trailers, have been deleted for both, presumably marking the cancellation of both series.
Joong and Dunk initially appeared together in Star & Sky: Star in My Mind in 2022, while Aou and Boom appeared together in We Are as supporting characters.
