Chicago Bears star slot cornerback Kyler Gordon suffered a calf injury during spring practices, which sidelined him for training camp and the first five games of the season. Gordon returned to practice in Week 4 and fully participated. He also fully participated in Week 5 practice but was not activated in his first week of eligibility. For the third straight week, he fully participated, but this time he was listed as questionable on the final injury report.

According to Sean Hammond of The Chicago Tribune, the Bears have activated Kyler Gordon from the PUP list, a massive boost for the secondary. As a result, Gordon will play against the Falcons and will handle slot duties, with Cam Lewis moving to safety. In addition, the front office released Xavier Woods.
