Andy Burnham is set to make a trip to Scotland later this week just as Scotland’s First Minister John Swinney prepares for his party conference in Aberdeen.
It comes after the SNP leader predicted that Andy Burnham could become the last Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, with nationalist governments now leading all the devolved parliaments.
John Swinney said the prime minister’s visit was a sign he had succeeded in getting inside Burnham’s head.
