KUALA LUMPUR: Two female students were injured when their motorcycle collided with a Rapid KL bus on Jalan Ampang, near the Social Security Organisation (Perkeso) building.
Rapid KL said the incident occurred at about 7.23am and involved a Route 300 bus travelling from Maluri Terminal to Lebuh Ampang in the bus lane.
Preliminary investigations found that the motorcycle was believed to have struck the left side of another vehicle before losing control and scraping against the bus.
The motorcycle rider and pillion rider were injured and taken by ambulance to Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
Rapid KL said it would cooperate fully with the authorities in their investigation and urged road users to remain alert.
