The messiest partner swap in daytime television doesn’t have enough drama for a primetime slot.
Fresh off Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig’s engagement, Page Six exclusively learned of the peaceful dynamic they share with their ex-spouses — newlyweds and former “GMA3” hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes.
“They’re all cordial and friendly because they have to be for Sabine,” a source told Page Six, referring to Holmes and Fiebig’s 13-year-old daughter. “But that’s really it.”
The insider spoke highly of the engaged pair, adding that “Andrew and Marilee are such nice people” who are “so happy and in love.”
“They’re very much alike. They’re both so kind and sweet, so there couldn’t be bad blood if they tried. They’re just very happy it ended up working out.”
Prior to the romantic switcheroo, Robach and the “Melrose Place” actor, 59, were married in 2010. Their divorce was finalized in March 2023.
Holmes and the attorney, 49, got hitched in 2010, and their split became final in October 2023. Together they share one daughter, Sabine.
Robach, 53, and Holmes, 49, first drew attention when they were spotted being close outside of the “Good Morning America” studios in November 2022. Both were still legally married to Shue and Fiebig, respectively, at the time, though they denied any infidelity.
Sources told Page Six at the time that Robach and Holmes were engaged in a months-long affair before they left their spouses.
An internal investigation was launched that December, and the two were removed from their on-air duties.
In January 2023, ABC News announced that the show would move forward without Robach and Holmes.
The TV stars went on to get engaged in September 2025 before making it official at a small ceremony in Arkansas on Sept. 19, 2026. We were told their former “GMA” colleagues were not present for the nuptials.
Through their separate divorces, Shue and Fiebig found love together, too.
They first stepped out together publicly on a red carpet in December 2024. They announced their engagement on Oct. 21, but revealed it took place in the spring.
“I don’t know how it happened, but there’s a happy ending,” Shue told People when announcing the news.
“I had to accept my own part in marriage not working out for me and in not understanding myself well enough and not understanding what matters in a relationship well enough to find the right person for me, and that has been an extraordinary gift.”
