Saint Lucian tapeball cricketers will travel to St Vincent and the Grenadines for a bilateral series from October 22 to 29.
Organised by the Saint Lucia National Tapeball Association in collaboration with the St Vincent and the Grenadines Tapeball Association, the tour marks the second annual event of its kind.
Last year, the series ended in a tie, after rain interrupted the final fixture, which would have determined a winner.
Team Saint Lucia will travel with a 29-member contingent, including the national youth tapeball team, the veterans team, and support staff. The national youth team will play five matches, while the veterans team will play two.
This year, the veterans team will also participate in the St Vincent and the Grenadines Independence Masters Hardball Tournament, where they will play three matches.
The tour will conclude with Saint Lucia’s Adventist Premier League players competing in a two-match series against SVG’s APL team.
This initiative is sponsored in part by the National Lotteries Authority and Rock Hard Cement.
