Graffiti reading “Pay your debt dog” was sprayed on the driveway of a multimillion-dollar house that went up in flames during a suspected arson attack.
The house erupted in flames on Ullapool Rd at Mount Pleasant, in Perth’s south about 3.10am on Wednesday.
Neighbours told The West Australian they heard a loud bang and car flee the scene about the time the property went up in flames.

Nine firefighting crews battled the blaze to stop it spreading to nearby properties and contained the fire by 4am before it was extinguished two hours later.
A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said the top floor and about half the bottom floor of the home were destroyed in the blaze.
“The fire was suspicious and reported to WA police,” a spokesman said.

Specialist arson squad investigators will examine the house and fire scene on Wednesday
“The cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time,” a police spokesman said.
“No one was injured in the incident.”
Anyone with information, CCTV, dashcam, or mobile phone vision relating to the fire is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
