Lithuanian AI marketing startup Holo has raised €5 million in a seed funding round led by Market One Capital, with participation from Silicon Gardens, FirstPick, Leonis Capital, NGL, Tekton Ventures, and several business angels.
The Vilnius-based company develops an AI-powered platform designed to help small businesses plan, execute, and optimize their marketing activities without relying on dedicated marketing teams or external agencies.
According to the company, the funding follows a period of growth for Holo, which reached $5 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) within 252 days, having previously raised less than €1 million. Its platform now serves more than 20,000 paying businesses across over 100 countries.
"Most small business owners we talk to are great at what they do, and almost none of them started a business to do marketing. We think that within a few years a small business will be able to market the way the biggest brands do, with a real plan, constant testing and a clear decision every week about what to do next," says Aleksandras Urbanavicius, co-founder of Holo. He adds that the company's growing customer base demonstrates demand for more accessible marketing solutions.
Holo plans to use the fresh capital to further develop its autonomous marketing capabilities, expand its customer base, and grow its team in Vilnius.
From AI-generated content to autonomous marketing
Holo seeks to automate the broader marketing process, from deciding which activities to prioritize to measuring their effectiveness.
To get started, business owners enter their website address into the platform. Holo analyzes the company's products, brand identity, communication style, and marketing objectives before proposing a tailored strategy.
The platform then generates advertising materials, social media posts, email campaigns, and SEO content, organizing them into a marketing calendar. Users can review and approve the suggested content, request modifications, or allow selected activities to run automatically through connected marketing channels.
The company combines third-party AI models with its proprietary technology.
"Every business on Holo teaches the platform something about what works, from which email subject lines get opened to which ad formats get the most reach. An owner gets a plan built around their business, and that plan keeps changing based on what actually happened," explains Deividas Kovger, co-founder of Holo.
Backed by experience in advertising and marketing technology
Holo was founded in Vilnius by Deividas Kovger, who leads product development, and Aleksandras Urbanavicius, responsible for growth. The founding team also includes design lead Karolis Vaiginis and CTO Arnas Puidokas.
Before launching Holo, Urbanavicius worked in paid advertising and growth strategy, while Kovger developed email marketing operations for consumer brands and built marketing software.
For lead investor Market One Capital, the founders' experience and the company's early commercial traction were key factors behind the investment.
"Great products usually come from people who've lived through the problem themselves. Content is basically free to produce now, but knowing what actually converts takes context and hands-on experience. Holo's founders have both, and it's what sets them apart," says Michał Mroczkowski, Partner at Market One Capital.
