According to Judy, it all started with what she describes as her husband's secret involvement in witchcraft.
Before she figured out what was happening, businesses that had once thrived started haemorrhaging money.
The couple's social circle, once wide and warm, shrank to almost nothing, and friends who had been fixtures in their lives simply vanished.
From Millions to Debt
The financial collapse was not gradual; it was brutal and swift. Judy describes watching a life she had carefully built disintegrate in what felt like no time at all.
The pressure of debt, the absence of support, and the deterioration of her marriage left her in a corner with few options she was willing to take.
It was at that lowest point, she says, that she made the choice that would later define how the public sees her.
Desperate and with no financial lifeline in sight, Judy deliberately cheated on her husband. She is clear that this was not a decision made out of passion or romantic feeling; it was, in her words, a survival strategy.
