Konstantinos Argyros has launched an Argyros Grammy bid, putting his album “Kampanes – The Sound of the Aegean” forward for consideration for a 2027 Grammy Awards nomination.

The Greek singer posted the album’s Grammy Consideration campaign on his Instagram account in mid-October. Artists and labels run these campaigns to promote their work to the voters who choose the nominees.
The Argyros Grammy bid targets two categories: Best Global Music Album for “Kampanes” and Best Global Music Performance for its title track.
However, a consideration campaign is not a nomination. Members of the Recording Academy decide which entries make the final list of nominees.
Argyros Grammy bid and the album
“Kampanes”, which means “bells”, pays tribute to the sound of the Aegean and to Greek island songs.
In July, the record became the first Greek-language album to enter the Billboard Top World Albums and Top Album Sales charts. Greek City Times reported at the time that the album debuted at No. 12 on the world albums chart.
Fans can find the album on streaming services, as well as on CD and double vinyl. It comes out on Pedagon Records, the label Argyros created with Panik Records in partnership with the American company 10K Projects.
Since then, Argyros has also released a new single, “Revma”, on Panik Platinum and Pedagon Records.
Key dates for the 2027 awards
First-round voting for the 2027 awards runs from 12 to 22 October 2026, according to the Recording Academy’s official calendar. That round determines the nominees in every category.
The Academy will then announce the nominations on Monday 16 November 2026. Until that date, the Argyros Grammy bid remains a submission rather than a nomination.
Final-round voting follows from 10 December 2026 to 7 January 2027. The 69th Grammy Awards will take place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday 7 February 2027.
In the meantime, Argyros continues his international concert dates, with shows planned in Paris and London.
