Bumble stock ended Monday’s session near $3.80, surging after reports of take-private talks. It opened at $2.52, traded between a low of $2.50 and a high of $3.97, and was last at $3.80, against a previous close of $2.54. The price stands above all daily exponential averages and the upper Bollinger band. However, overbought RSI readings across daily, hourly, and 15-minute timeframes complicate the near-term outlook.

Take-private reports frame the session
Yahoo Finance reported during Monday’s session that Bumble was in advanced talks to be taken private. Its report cited The Wall Street Journal and put the potential deal value at around $1 billion. The transaction remains at the talks stage, not a completed agreement.
Meanwhile, Seeking Alpha reported during the same session that the take-private talks involved Ithaca, also citing The Wall Street Journal. These reports provide news context for the move without establishing that a transaction will proceed.
Bumble stock: daily strength without aligned averages
Average structure and RSI reading
The intraday price stands above the daily 20-session EMA at $2.76, the 50-session EMA at $2.81, and the 200-session EMA at $3.39. That position supports the bullish bias. However, the averages themselves are not bullishly stacked: the 20-session average remains below the 50-session average, which sits below the 200-session average.
Daily RSI14 rose to 79.46 from 38.63 in the previous session, placing it in overbought territory. RSI therefore identifies an overbought condition rather than a confirmed bearish turn.
MACD and Bollinger band levels
The daily MACD line is 0.02, above its signal at -0.06. Its histogram increased to 0.07 from -0.01, crossing above zero. MACD therefore supports the bullish case. At the same time, price stands above the daily upper Bollinger band at $3.33. The mid-band is $2.74 and the lower band is $2.15, placing price outside the upper boundary.
Volatility and pivot levels
Daily ATR14 increased to $0.21 from $0.11, indicating greater measured volatility than in the preceding session. The daily pivot is $2.55, with first resistance at $2.58 and first support at $2.51. Price stands above all three levels. These daily readings remain provisional while the official close settles.
Hourly confirmation, with a short-term qualification
EMA and Bollinger band positioning
The hourly chart supports the daily bias through price’s position above its 20-hour EMA at $2.81, 50-hour EMA at $2.66, and 200-hour EMA at $2.69. These averages are not fully bullishly stacked because the 50-hour EMA sits below the 200-hour EMA. Price also stands above the hourly upper Bollinger band at $3.48.
Conflicting short-term momentum signals
Hourly RSI14 declined to 92.37 from 95.35 in the preceding candle and remains overbought. However, the hourly MACD histogram increased to 0.14 from 0.1, with its line at 0.21 above the signal at 0.07. The conflict is specific: hourly RSI14 is 92.37, while the histogram is 0.14. Neither reading establishes a bearish daily bias.
For execution context, the 15-minute EMAs are bullishly stacked beneath price: $3.14, $2.83, and $2.62 for the 20-, 50-, and 200-quarter-hour averages. Nevertheless, 15-minute RSI14 declined to 87.68 from 94.23, while the MACD histogram decreased to 0.13 from 0.15. The MACD line remains above its signal, at 0.34 versus 0.21. Short-term signals are therefore mixed.
Bullish and bearish conditions for Bumble stock
A bullish continuation would require price to trade above the hourly pivot at $3.81, then clear the 15-minute pivot at $3.87. The next references are 15-minute first resistance at $3.93, the session high at $3.97, and hourly first resistance at $4. Beyond those levels, the 15-minute upper Bollinger band is $4.11. Holding above the daily 200-session EMA at $3.39 would support the broader bullish case.
In contrast, a break below hourly first support at $3.65 would weaken the immediate setup. Below that lie the hourly upper band at $3.48 and the daily 200-session EMA at $3.39. Losing $3.39 and the daily upper band at $3.33 would undermine the bullish price structure. A break below the daily 50-session EMA at $2.81 and 20-session EMA at $2.76 would invalidate the average-based bullish case.
Overall, Bumble stock, at $3.80 with the session still open, stands above its daily averages but below the hourly pivot at $3.81 and the 15-minute pivot at $3.87. Daily ATR14 is $0.21, and all three timeframes are in overbought territory. The unresolved questions are whether price can clear nearby resistance and whether the reported take-private talks advance.

What are the key levels to watch for Bumble stock?
On the upside, price needs to clear the hourly pivot at $3.81 and the 15-minute pivot at $3.87, with the session high at $3.97 and hourly first resistance at $4 beyond that. On the downside, hourly first support sits at $3.65, followed by the hourly upper Bollinger band at $3.48 and the daily 200-session EMA at $3.39.
