It was a half to forget for Jaylen Waddle, but was it actually more than that?
The Denver Broncos receiver was seen leaving the field prior to halftime, walking back to the locker room. While the Prime Video broadcast noted Waddle was heading to the blue medical tent, Broncos beat reporters said that the 27-year-old was just walking back to the locker room.
Waddle caught only two passes for 15 yards in the first half, despite seeing five targets.
Notably, the Broncos ran the ball on the next play to end the half. It's unclear if Waddle was dealing with an injury or just getting an extra break for halftime.
