ZTE has quietly introduced another nubia A76 4G, despite already selling a different smartphone under the same name.
The new device follows the nubia A75 from early 2024, along with the previously released nubia A76 4G and nubia A77 4G. However, this newly launched A76 is a separate model from the earlier phone carrying the same name.
Design and Display
The new nubia A76 4G features a 6.75-inch display with 720p+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
This gives it a larger and faster screen than the older nubia A76, which has a 6.5-inch 720p+ panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. The display reaches up to 500 nits of brightness.
ZTE describes the phone as having a “flagship-inspired design,” which includes a full-width camera module across the back.
The design and specifications appear identical to the previously launched ZTE Blade A76 4G.
The phone comes in Carbon Black, Polar Grey, and Sand Gold.
Internals and Software
The nubia A76 4G is powered by an unnamed chipset featuring an octa-core processor clocked at up to 1.8GHz.
ZTE advertises support for 4.5G connectivity, although the company has not revealed the exact network standard or expected download and upload speeds.
The phone does not offer 5G support.
Cameras
The nubia A76 4G comes with what ZTE calls a 50MP triple-camera setup on the back.
However, the company has not provided details on the other two rear camera sensors.
Battery and Pricing
The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 22.5W wired charging.
This is faster than the older nubia A76, which also has a 5,000mAh battery but supports only 10W charging.
The new model has also received an A rating under the European Union’s energy-efficiency testing system.
ZTE has not yet announced the official price or availability of the new nubia A76 4G. However, the nearly identical Blade A76 4G sells for around $169. The new nubia-branded model has not yet appeared at major retailers or mobile carriers.
