Trump Says U.S. Has a Relationship With Houthis, Claims Group Has Breached Saudi Arabia
U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that Washington has a relationship with Yemen’s Houthi movement, while claiming that the group has breached the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Trump’s remarks come amid rising regional tensions and growing concerns over the security of Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East. The Houthis, who control much of northern Yemen, have previously carried out attacks targeting Saudi territory and other targets across the region.
However, the exact nature of the relationship Trump referred to remains unclear, and his claim regarding the alleged breach of Saudi Arabia has not been independently verified.
