Layton Williams has been crowned the first ever winner of The Great Celebrity Pottery Throw Down, triumphing over his fellow novices in the Channel 4 series finale.
The actor, dancer and singer beat Fatiha El-Ghorri, Richard Herring and Denise Van Outen in the final, after the four made it through to battle for the title.
Unlike the main show, there were no eliminations across the first four episodes, giving the celebrity potters the chance to learn and improve before the final four were decided on the throw down leaderboard.
Comedian and Celebrity Traitors alum Lucy Beaumont and ex-footballer Paul Merson made up the rest of the line-up, but were knocked out before the grand finale.
The remaining potters had to create a dessert trifle set, complete with serving bowls, spoon and small jug, before tackling a surprise second challenge: a tricky throw performed blindfolded.
The result confirmed Williams as champion of the celebrity spin-off of the long-running ceramics contest, filmed at the Gladstone Pottery Museum in Stoke-on-Trent.
Judges Keith Brymer Jones and Rich Miller oversaw the contest alongside host Liza Tarbuck.
Reacting to his win, Williams said: "I am genuinely so thrilled. I was ready to do my 'supportive friend face' but I'm so overjoyed and really just humbled. I'm really, really happy. I never bloody win anything!"
He continued: "And all my family are here too, to enjoy it. I prepared them for me to lose actually, so to stand here with a trophy is crazy. I guess I'm gonna be throwing some more clay. Why not? I need to buy me a wheel."
Williams, 31, made his professional debut aged 12 in the title role of the West End musical Billy Elliot, and went on to lead Everybody's Talking About Jamie in London and LA.
Other theatre roles include the Emcee in Cabaret and The Iceberg in Titanique, for which he won an Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical.
His TV work includes a successful stint on Strictly Come Dancing 2023, where he was a runner-up alongside pro partner Nikita Kuzmin. He's also appeared in Billie Piper's I Hate Suzie and Jack Whitehall's Bad Education.
Fellow finalist Richard Herring was gracious in defeat, saying: "I think it's very fair. I think it was pretty close but his work with the clay is just so beautiful and he took some really good risks, so I'm very happy for him."
Denise Van Outen said the series had been "so much fun from start to finish and just the best experience", adding that she would "go back and do it all again" if she could.
Judge Keith Brymer Jones, known for being moved to tears by contestants' work, praised the group's efforts.
"It's been a joy watching you making and expressing your lovely, amazing personal stories," he said. "We find it incredibly inspiring that these novices come in, knowing nothing about clay and they give us something really, really wonderful."
Co-judge Rich Miller added: "Clay is one of those materials that's so human. They came in as six celebrities and I hope that they've left as six potters."
