Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has added a home in Abu Dhabi to a growing international property portfolio that reportedly includes a £6.2 million (R136 million) mansion in Cheshire and residences in Spain and Norway.
Haaland revealed the new acquisition at the launch event for Manchester City Yas Residences by Ohana, held on 12 October 2026. His father, Alfie Haaland, who previously played for Manchester City, also secured a property in the same development.
Inside the Abu Dhabi development
The project, being delivered by Ohana Development, will sit along Yas Canal near Yas Island and is set to include more than 2,000 residences, among them townhouses and four- and five-bedroom villas. Phased delivery is expected to begin in 2029.
The developer did not disclose the price Haaland paid, though Architectural Digest Middle East reported that five-bedroom villas in the development carry an average price of AED9.5 million.

Haaland's reported property holdings
The Abu Dhabi purchase extends a portfolio that already spans multiple countries. In Cheshire, the 26-year-old is reported to own a four-storey, 10-bedroom estate valued at around £6.2 million, complete with a swimming pool, lake, treehouse, stables and a coach house. He has also reportedly applied for planning permission to build a four-bay garage at the property.
In Spain, Haaland has been linked to a luxury home on Marbella's Golden Mile, with earlier reports placing its value at approximately £5.5 million, although no completed purchase has been conclusively confirmed.
In Norway, he has been associated with an apartment in Oslo's exclusive Sommerro development, reported to be worth around £2.8 million, as well as two apartments in his hometown of Bryne. The reported prices for the Bryne properties were £872,000 and £436,000 respectively, with one of them said to have previously belonged to his father.
These figures are drawn from media reports on individual properties and do not represent an independently verified total valuation of his real estate holdings. Some transactions, including the Marbella property, remain unconfirmed as outright purchases.
