If elected, the Labour Party has pledged to complete a funding review of higher education by the end of 2027, a long-awaited and welcomed commitment by the sector.
Labour’s tertiary education spokesperson Shanan Halbert outlined the party’s vision for the sector to Newsroom, highlighting three key principles: accessibility, affordability, and equity.
