Philadelphia 76ers star forward LeBron James remembers a lot that happened throughout his NBA career since it started in 2003. He even knows the very lineups that featured in his regular-season debut between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Sacramento Kings.
James is gearing up for the 24th season of his career in the league, his first with the 76ers. He represented the Los Angeles Lakers for eight years before leaving and departing for the 76ers. Before that, he donned the Cavaliers and Miami Heat jerseys. Cleveland stands out the most as his hometown team, having two stints with them from 2003 to 2010 and 2014 to 2018.
James made his NBA debut on Oct. 29 when Cleveland clashed with Sacramento. With the anniversary being two weeks away, he answered a question from a reporter about whether he remembers the lineups from both squads. The veteran superstar impressed with his memory.

“Me, Ricky Davis, Darius Miles, Carlos Boozer, and Zydrunas [Ilgauskas],” James said for the Cavs lineup before shifting to the Kings lineup in that game. “Mike Bibby, Doug Christie, Peja [Stojakovic], Vlade [Divac], and Brad Miller.”
Q: "Anniversary's coming up for your first game… do you remember the starting lineup that night?"

What lies ahead for LeBron James, 76ers this season
LeBron James starts a new era as he approaches the twilight years of his NBA career. He will easily be a first-ballot Hall of Famer, but he still has a fifth championship to compete for as he begins his stint with the 76ers.
Philadelphia finished with a 45-37 record last season, securing the seventh seed in the East standings. They stunned the Boston Celtics in seven games before falling to the eventual champion New York Knicks in a four-game sweep.
The 76ers have one more preseason contest to deal with, hosting the Celtics on Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. ET. Their regular season gets underway on the road when they face the Knicks on Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. ET.
