Regulators pushing for answers after Google Cloud outage disrupts banks and courts

Google Cloud services began coming back online this afternoon after hours of disruption to banks, businesses and even the UK Government website.

The tech giant blamed what it called a “power event” for the outage, but didn’t go into detail about what caused it.

Sources at  Google have said there is no evidence of nefarious activity.
