The suspect was identified as Sardar Raja Singh Ranjit Singh, from whose possession the contraband and weapons were allegedly recovered.
According to Excise Deputy Commissioner A. Srinivas Reddy, the raid was conducted following credible information about the possession of narcotics and firearms in the area.
During the searches, officials recovered approximately 1.5 kg of dried ganja, a firearm, a pistol and five rounds of ammunition. During questioning, the suspect allegedly disclosed that he had purchased ganja from Rahul, a resident of Mangalhat.
He also claimed to have procured the pistol from an unidentified person in Nanded, Maharashtra.
