The Los Angeles Rams have had a rough start to the season, as evidenced by their 2-3 record.
When noting that the Rams have high expectations this season, this kind of start has certainly been concerning. Due to this, it would not be surprising if the Rams looked to add new talent between now and the trade deadline.
One of the Rams' biggest needs is another impactful wide receiver. Because of this, they are being linked to an intriguing trade candidate from the Baltimore Ravens.
In a recent article for Bleacher Report, Gary Davenport named the Rams as the best landing spot for Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman.

...
"In Los Angeles, Bateman could slide even farther down the depth chart. But he could be highly valuable to the Rams if the injury bug gets Puka Nacua again. He'd also be a move for the future—Davante Adams isn't getting any younger, and Bateman's 2027 salary is reasonable," Davenport wrote.
With the Rams needing another wide receiver, it would be understandable if they made a push for a player like Bateman. The 26-year-old has shown during his career that he can be an impactful wide receiver, so he would have the potential to boost the Rams' offense nicely.
In five games this season with the Ravens, Bateman has posted one touchdown, 16 receptions, and 233 receiving yards. The best season of his NFL career so far was in 2024 with Baltimore, as he set career highs with nine touchdowns and 756 receiving yards. With past numbers like these, he would be a good player for the Rams to take a gamble on.
