You will refund every kobo after office — APC tells Makinde
The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in its reaction, said the governor would account for every kobo spent during his administration after leaving office.
The APC made this declaration in a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Wasiu Sadare.
The statement was made available to DAILY POST on Thursday.
In the statement, Sadare also condemned the governor’s plan to spend ₦4.2 billion on the forthcoming local government election in the state.
Sadare said, “As a matter of fact, Engr. Makinde and his cronies shall be made to cough out every kobo of the money belonging to our dear state which they have misappropriated while in office immediately after the expiration of his final term in about seven months.”
