*Warning - contains major spoilers for Slow Horses season 6 episode 5.*
The fifth episode of Slow Horses season 6 ended on an epic sequence, which saw Jack Lowden's River trying to help Olivia Cooke's Sid escape her certain doom.
Sid was being sent by Diana Taverner into Russian hands, as a scapegoat for the operation which took place there, and ultimately brought on the onslaught from Jim and Jane.
In the end, they managed to break away, but River stayed behind and was caught, so as to distract their captors and allow Sid to escape on foot.
