Forecasts suggest that there will still be occasional showers in the first half of this week, but the weather will become sunnier and slightly warmer in the second half of the week.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, light rain is expected at times across Latvia. On Tuesday, there will be a light, variable wind, so fog will form in many places overnight and in the morning, whilst on Wednesday the south, south-westerly wind will strengthen, with gusts of 15–17 metres per second along the coast. Minimum temperatures on both nights will range from +2 to +7 C, dropping to as low as 10 degrees in some coastal areas. In the afternoons, temperatures will rise to between +9 and +14 C.
The sun will shine more frequently in the second half of the week. There will be no rainfall from Thursday to Saturday.
Nights will remain as chilly as at the start of the week, but afternoons will become slightly warmer, with temperatures rising to +12 to +17 C.
On Sunday, however, the weather is likely to become cloudier again, with occasional rain and slightly cooler conditions.
