Kentucky Basketball returns to the hardwood tonight for its second exhibition game of the preseason, facing Texas Tech in Rupp Arena.
It’s the prelude to what should be an exciting weekend in Lexington as Big Blue Nation gets to watch their men’s basketball team in action, followed by their football team playing host to the Vanderbilt Commodores in a chase for a College Football Playoff berth.
Last week, the Wildcats beat Little Rock (69-49) last week in what was a game of both highs and lows. Kentucky came out a bit cold offensively to start that game, but turned things on in the second half to pull away for the win.
This week, the exhibition game between UK and TTU features a top-25 showdown as the Red Raiders are ranked No. 19 in the Associated Press preseason rankings while the Wildcats are just behind at No. 23.
Tonight’s exhibition game with Texas Tech is scheduled for 7 PM ET with coverage on SEC Network Plus and the UK Radio Sports Network.
