The Equalities Minister Bridget Phillipson – together with Baroness Lawrence – have been talking to Liverpool residents and community groups about the best way to tackle racism.
Their visit included a library which was badly damaged by an arson attack during racist riots in 2024.
Baroness Lawrence warned that what happened to her son, Stephen, who was murdered in a racially-motivated attack in 1993, could happen again.
