The Los Angeles Rams are down three starters after Sunday’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals, as wide receiver Davante Adams, defensive tackle Poona Ford and defensive end Kobie Turner all suffered long-term injuries.
The Rams are already off to a poor start to the season, currently posting a 2-4 record and sitting last in the NFC West, despite strong seasons on both offense and defense.

How Much Time Will the Rams’ Stars Miss?
Davante Adams
Adams suffered his injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s loss on his team’s penultimate snap of the game. Adams pulled up on a route, reaching for his knee, before limping to the sidelines. Rams head coach Sean McVay revealed Adams’ injury to be a ruptured hamstring, and gave him a six-to-10 week timetable to return.
Adams’ injury is a worrying one, as he has struggled with hamstring issues in the past—missing the final three games of last year’s regular season with a similar issue. The six-time Pro Bowler has 49 catches for 480 yards on the year, recording four touchdowns through six weeks.
With Adams on the sidelines, the Rams are extremely limited in their wide receiver room. Superstar Puka Nacua is still healthy, but they don’t have too much help behind him.
Poona Ford
Ford played 25 of 72 offensive snaps on Sunday, but ruptured his triceps during the contest and will miss the remainder of the season.
The veteran has played in 39% of the Rams’ defensive snaps this season, recording 15 combined tackles, including one for loss.
Behind Ford, the Rams will look towards Ty Hamilton to get the job done for the remainder of the season. Ford is in the second year of a three-year deal, so the Rams will have him for next season if they decide to keep him on their books.

Kobie Turner
Turner featured in a much larger capacity than Ford this season, seeing the field for 60% of the Rams’ defensive plays while recording 22 combined tackles.
He will miss less time than both Adams and Ford, as a groin injury will only take him out for four to six weeks, per McVay. The next player behind him on the Rams’ depth chart is Tyler Davis, who is in his third year with the team. With two of their key defensive linemen out, the Rams have yet another thin position player group to figure out.

What Will the Rams Do?
This injury news is terrible for the Rams, who are already struggling in the 2026 season. They’ll hope their injuries don’t hamper them too much as they look to get back on track next week against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday at 1:25 p.m. PT.
