Saturday evening saw Hollywood's most glamorous head to the red carpet at the Academy Museum Gala. Held in Los Angeles, the fundraising event has fast become one of the most stylish functions, with iconic actors and actresses showing off their resplendent looks.
Former Bond girl Ana de Armas looked breathtaking in one of the most adventurous gowns we've ever seen the famously chic star step out in. Her sculpted black velvet dress by Louis Vuitton featured a plunging neckline that highlighted her décolletage.

Ana's fashion evolution
Although Ana's red-carpet fashion game is always enchanting, her day-to-day look is often simple and comfortable. "When I was younger, 18 or 20, I always wanted to wear high heels, anytime of day, but now I admit I wear them less. I prefer flat shoes and comfort; I feel more like myself," she told People en Español.

Delving into her Cuban heritage, she added: "There is not a lot of fashion in Cuba. I think what has influenced me is the simplicity and practicality with which you have to live there. I like vaporous clothing with flowers and colors."
