KATHMANDU: Light rain or snowfall is likely at one or two places in the mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces today, while the weather is expected to remain generally clear in other parts of the country, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
The Division said the country is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly winds. Mist and fog have formed in the Terai region, valleys, and gorges during the morning hours but are expected to dissipate gradually.
For tonight, partly cloudy conditions are forecast in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. The weather is expected to remain generally clear elsewhere.
Meteorologists have also forecast the possibility of rainfall in various parts of the country from next Wednesday or Thursday, indicating a potential change in weather conditions later in the week.
