Recently, an old 2024 video titled “First Chuseok at the In-Law’s House” on Park We’s YouTube channel Weracle has resurfaced on online communities, sparking allegations of discrimination against Song Jieun, Park We’s wife and a former member of girl group Secret.
The video shows Song Jieun, who was soon to marry Park We, visiting her future in-laws and having a meal with them. When Park We and Song Jieun entered the house, actress Yoon So Hee welcomed them dressed casually. It turned out that Yoon So Hee is the adopted daughter of Park We’s father, PD Park Chan Hong.
Yoon So Hee and PD Park Chan Hong first connected through the tvN drama Memory, which aired from March to May 2016, where Yoon So Hee played the lead role Bong Sun Hwa.
Previously, suspicions of Song Jieun being relatively sidelined arose because Park We called Yoon So Hee’s name first during the pre-meal prayer, Song Jieun used different tableware from the family who shared the same set, and during a video call with Park We’s younger sibling, greetings were directed at Yoon So Hee.
