This popular actress, who started her career with a box office hit, has already made a place in the hearts of crores of viewers with her impeccable acting and sweet nature. Now she is going to start a new chapter in Hindi cinema.
Krithi will be making her Bollywood debut with a romantic film by Bollywood director Rohit Shetty’s long-time collaborator Vidhi Ghodgaonkar.
This love story is being produced by Abhishek S Vyas’ AVS Studios. Fans are keen to see how she can make an impact in Bollywood after making South Indian films a hit as a romantic heroine on screen.
According to an exclusive report by entertainment news outlet Pinkvilla, Krithi Shetty will soon be making her Hindi film debut with a fresh love story. The film is expected to go on floors by the end of this year.
However, the name of the film and the names of other cast members are still under wraps.
The project will be helmed by the budding and talented director Vidhi Ghodgaonkar. Her 17 years of experience working with Rohit Shetty is expected to bring a great and different perspective to this new romantic story.
Before making this grand entry from South cinema to Bollywood, Krithi had some great successful works under her belt. She became an overnight star with the Telugu film ‘Upena’ and proved herself as a young talent. After that, she worked in several popular Telugu and Tamil language films.
She was recently seen opposite Pradeep Ranganathan and SJ Suriya in Vignesh Sivan’s ‘Love Insurance Company’. She is also awaiting release in the multilingual film ‘Jenny’, where she will be seen alongside stars like Jayam Ravi, Wamiqa Gabbi and Kalyani Priyadarshan.
