What To Know
Trump weighed in on social media after a meme circulated comparing older and newer images of Susan Dell under the caption "The MAGA Effect."
Resharing the post, Trump criticized those commenting on Dell's appearance and argued that the focus should instead be on the scale of her family's charitable giving.
"People are awful," Trump wrote.
He said Susan and Michael Dell had contributed $6.25 billion to Trump Accounts for 25 million children, describing it as one of the largest private donations in American history.
Trump continued: "The response? Vicious attacks on her."
He added that he was "tired of this nonsense" and called the criticism "disgusting," arguing that few people have done more for philanthropy.
The post concluded with a direct message to Dell, thanking her for her charitable work and calling her "incredible."
