KUALA LUMPUR: Pearly Tan–M Thinaah moved within one win of claiming successive World Tour titles after reaching the French Open final today.
The world No. 4 defeated Japan's world No. 5 Rin Iwanaga–Kie Nakanishi 21-17, 22-20 in their semi-final at Arena Grand Paris.
Fresh from winning the Denmark Open last Sunday, Pearly–Thinaah now have the chance to complete a European double and regain the French Open crown they won in 2022.
They will meet either Japan's Yuki Fukushima–Mayu Matsumoto or Indonesia's Rachel Allessya Rose–Febi Setianingrum in tomorrow's final.
