By Hari Krishna Sharma, Mustang, Oct. 19: Internet service of the Tech-mind Network has been disrupted in two local levels of the Upper Mustang for the last 25 days, since the flood caused by incessant rainfall on September 25.
The internet services in Lomanthang and Loghekar Damodarkund rural municipalities have been out of services due to lack of repair caused by the flood, causing difficulties to the service recipient.
Tasi Narbu Gurung, chairperson of the Lomanthang rural municipality, said internet service interruption has caused problems in service delivery of local levels, banks and financial institutions, administrative and security agencies, ACAP and other organisations.
Chair Gurung said that the Tech-mind Network was alerted even by the district administration to repair and resume the service after the company paid no heed to repeated requests from the local levels to do the same.
