The MLB playoffs features a doubleheader on Monday, Oct. 12, with baseball’s final four teams in action.
First, the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers continue their National League Championship Series with Game 2 to start the day.
The Brewers struck first in their NLCS rematch against the Dodgers, winning, 2-1, in Game 1 Sunday night, Oct. 11, behind just enough offense and a shutdown bullpen.
Milwaukee now looks for a 2-0 series lead at home, while Los Angeles will turn to playoff legend Yoshinobu Yamamoto for the start on the mound.
Then in prime time, the Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Guardians begin the American League Championship Series.
The Rays have been off since Wednesday, Oct. 7, after they swept the New York Yankees in the AL Division Series, while the Guardians battled in five games to advance after coming back to win the final three games against the Chicago White Sox.
Both the NL and AL are down to the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds with World Series berths at stake.
