DASHCAMS footage allegedly showing a black Porsche Cayenne being driven recklessly near Bukit Jalil and Puchong has triggered heated debate on social media, with several motorists claiming they have had similar encounters with the vehicle.
The footage, shared by a Threads user, showed a series of driving incidents involving a vehicle bearing the registration number WTL 9113.
In the post, the user urged motorists to exercise caution if they encountered the vehicle and called on the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and relevant authorities to investigate the alleged incidents.
The user also cautioned against attempting similar activities without proper evidence, urging motorists to keep their dashcams recording and drive responsibly.
The post attracted numerous comments from users who claimed to have experienced aggressive driving involving the same vehicle.
One Thread user alleged that they lived in the same apartment building as the driver and had experienced similar incidents on many mornings since November 2025.
The user further claimed that several police reports had been lodged and alleged that the driver had recently begun striking their parked car with the vehicle’s door.
Another user claimed to have encountered the same vehicle the previous day, while a separate user recalled an alleged road-rage incident involving the car several years ago.
The latter claimed the driver had honked and abruptly applied the brakes in front of them before making an offensive gesture.
Other commenters expressed frustration and called for the authorities to take action, although some of their allegations about the driver’s conduct and previous complaints could not be independently verified.
The post has also prompted discussions about road safety and the importance of dashcam recordings in documenting potentially dangerous driving.
PDRM has previously highlighted the usefulness of dashcam footage in helping investigators identify vehicles suspected of committing traffic offences. The police have encouraged members of the public to submit relevant recordings and information to assist investigations.
However, the allegations circulating online should not be treated as established findings and it remains unclear whether the latest footage has prompted an official investigation.
There is also no verified information establishing whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs, as speculated in the original post.
Motorists who encounter potentially dangerous driving are advised to maintain a safe distance, avoid confrontation and submit relevant evidence to the authorities.
PDRM’s official channels provide information on how members of the public can contact the police and submit complaints. More information is available through its official website.
